About Forlacol

Forlacol was founded in 1976 making it one of the oldest Insurance Broker Firms in Panama. The company was founded by Jaime Ford Boyd, former ambassador to the US and Spain, Zona Libre Entrepreneur, and current director of ASSA Insurance company. Forlacol means “Ford, Lara, Colon.”

The firm is currently managed by Ursula Kiener Ford who is the third generation in the company. Ursula’s background is in assisting people who wish to relocate and/or invest in Panama. She hosts events for Expats to integrate with Panamanian Society. Ursula sits on the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce, Agriculture and Industry of Panama and is the Vice President of the Tourism Committee of the Panamanian Association of Business Executives. Her current duties under the government are as the Relocation to Panama Consultant of the Ministry of Commerce.
